Feb Little Swifts. Heres what happened at Little swifts. an exploration of materials, wood, metal and fabric for 2 to 5 year olds. here’s a photo of some of the wooden necklaces made as Valentines gifts.
This happened in January
Little Swifts at The Raf Museum. A past event on the theme of colour. a workshop for families with children 2 to 5 years old. Read a book, by Julia Donaldson, ‘colours everywhere” . They made a stain glass picture mixing colours. They sorted colours of cars into coloured garages , played in pools of white paper and soft animals camouflaged amongst the paper and much more.
Mini Morris at The William Morris Gallery. A past event of a free session of craft, play and singing on a bunny theme. Read a Brer rabbit story adapted from ‘Brer rabbit can dance’. Sang bunny songs, looked at a Brer rabbit print in the gallery and a Brer rabbit headband. See previous projects below for the bunny headband craft.

Scribble and Smudge is 18years old!
Year 17 has been special because of the support family and friends have given. Thankyou to all the volunteers who have helped on the under 5’s programmes, your help is the most important thing to the families who come and enjoy their time at the museum and galleries, thankyou to ( in no special order) Caroline, Sue, Barbara, Helen and Sonia.
Thankyou to all of the organisations who have the foresight to want to make our lives a little brighter with hosting creative activities with little children for FREE! Our world will be at a loss without valuing creativity and ensuring it for our future . I have worked with The RAF museum, William Morris Gallery and the Mill this past year.
Thankyou to all of you who have come to the workshops and supported Scribble and Smudge. Please feel the virtual hug to all of you. Here are some photos of musings , inspiration and joy from year 17.
