June 9th
Little Swifts: oh so Royal! Come and have a right royal time, making crowns, having a royal tea party, songs and role play. King Charles III is the Royal patron of the RAF Museum and was given his wings in 1971. The royal connection is celebrated at trooping of the colour, June 13th in London. Little Swifts can be royal for the day. Free, but booking is essential.

Mini Morris:Icelandic ponies.
June 18th. Come and create your own Icelandic horse to gallop with. Hear about Mouse the pony and William Morris’s travels to Iceland, The land of fire and ice. A free workshop for 2 to 5 year olds. First come first served, drop-in for a limited capacity. There are two sessions to choose from.
I recommend 11.30 a.m til 12.30. pm
Little Swifts: shapes

Walthamstow Toy Library: The adventure playground is open! There will be Indoor and outdoor play. Sensory play room can be booked. Offer of a healthy snack and .refreshments for the grown ups. Opportunity to borrow toys.

Well, the sun peeps out every now and again to indicate summer will be coming. With sunshiny cheer here’s whats happening in May.
Little Swifts: Lucky mascots theme with a craft of sock puppet making on May 12th at The RAF Museum. Celebrate all those cuddly animals and toys that bring us such cheer. Free for families with 2 to 5 year olds. Booking essential.
Mini Morris: Crafty knights, with a craft making your own heraldry for a knight costume. May 21st at The William Morris Gallery. Free for families with 2 to 5 year olds, drop -in. First come first served.
Walthamstow Toy Library: Discovery Day, a play day of fun activities, including the opening of our new playground. May 30th. Ticketed event for families under 8 years old.
Events for under 5’s in these museums and galleries will continue til July. The Toy Library is ongoing apart from1 week in August. I will keep you posted here.
