June Workshops

Hello! June is here, a half term with a bank holiday! Whoop whoop. Feeling like time is whizzing by and

There are two fabulous workshops on offer. The first, being part of the Mile Long street Party along Walthamstow high street. Jubilee celebrations over the bank holiday in Walthamstow are various and exciting but, the Mile Long Street Party run by Artillery Arts has an artistic take on the celebrations like no other. Sunday June 5th, 1pm til 7pm, Walthamstow High street. An extravaganza of events, that include, musicians,choirs cricket, play with chalk, dance, a disco, promenade, an arcade like no other, art workshops and our good selves! Scribble and Smudge will be in Zone 4 , called Dress to Impress, making paper disco waistcoats harking back to DISCO glamour. Other workshops nearby include face painting, dance, baseball cap decorations and a Disco. Dress to impress starts at 1 pm. A FREE workshop for families, come and create your own Disco vest. Creative Kids will be painting the world in colour at The William Morris Gallery. Taking inspiration from the British textile artist Althea McNIsh exhibition, we will be colouring cloth to wear as a scarf. A free workshop for 2 to 5 year olds, booking is essential check the gallery website or my events for details.

Two sessions to choose from either 10 til 12.30 or 1 til 2.30 pm. Booking is essential see details in events. Note this will be a messy workshop, please either bring/wear old clothes. Aprons are provided. Thursday, June 16th at The William Morris Gallery. Book a morning or, afternoon workshop.
